I Like To Be on Top

First impressions are blah blah blah . . . Wait I mean . . . ummmmmm they are like important and stuff. I promise I am good at writing and like spelling and using a thesaurus. So like as I was saying, bunk bed. I was lucky enough to get the last choice of beds in my dorm room, which was the top bunk. Which really means I have to climb at least two times a day more than the average sleeper, I have the opportunity of a trip to the hospital if I roll out of bed, and last but definitely not least I get to use the classic line, “ Want to go lay down . . . no, the top bunk.” But after months of being an elevated sleeper I have found that it has its upside (see it’s a pun). For example, the average dorm room goer is not inclined to climb, which tends to keep Stinky Pete from down the hall off my bed (There isn’t really a Stinky Pete). My bed situation also gives me a place in the top back corner of the room all to myself, if you are into that sort of thing. My point is my first impression was wrong.

  1. I have a top bunk as well, I know the feeling of being high up and backed into a corner. You feel very safe, no one can shoot you in the back (if you happen to be indebted to a mafioso). I sort of feel like a cat.
